The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services:
Hope, recovery and resilience guide our work, as we help individuals realize their potential and live as independently as possible. For over 140 years, our mission has placed us throughout the five boroughs of New York City in community-based programs, residential facilities and day treatment centers.
Volunteers at The Jewish Board play a critical role in supporting our clients through a difficult time in their lives. Whether mentoring a young person, offering companionship to an isolated individual, or providing practical support to programs and clients, Jewish Board volunteers are helping New Yorkers live independent and successful lives.
