Since its inception in 1981, the Jewish Community Council of Canarsie has made a positive difference in the lives of our community’s frail, destitute, and vulnerable residents. The JCC of Canarsie was originally designed to be a coordinating body for the various organizations in the greater Canarsie area.

Over the years, our agency has transformed and grown significantly; we are now one of the leading social and human service providers in Southeastern Brooklyn, mainly assisting the communities of Canarsie, Georgetown, Flatlands, East Flatbush, Starrett City, Bergen Beach, and Mill Basin. To service these communities, we operate out of three sites—with one in Starrett City, Canarsie, and Mill Basin.
